Coffey Building Group was launched in December 2013. However, the Coffey Building Group Management Team has been working together for over 30 years.
In our 8 years The Coffey Building Group has successfully completed numerous sizeable projects in the Central and Northern California Regions. Recent projects include The Sawyer Hotel at DOCO, Adventist Health Headquarters Roseville, the San Jose State University Aquatics Center and most recently The 10th & O DGS building and Natural Resource Center in downtown Sacramento.
Coffey Building Group has numerous completed and ongoing projects with Kaiser Permanente, Dignity Health, Sutter Health, Bank of America and Intel.

3/1/2023 - CBG will be continuing work on Elk Grove High School this spring. This is our 3rd major project with Flint for Elk Grove High School, the first of which started in 2021. This new project will be 2 new school buildings on the existing campus, one classroom/admin building, and one new AG building. Coffey will be performing drywall, tape & finish, acoustical and specialty ceiling along with fabric wall panels. This project will start in the summer of 2023 and is set to be completed early 2024.
8/15/2022 - Coffey Building Group has teamed up with Skaska for the Solidigm HQ Campus project. This is a four-building TI Renovation of offices and lab in Rancho Cordova CA. CBG will be providing cold formed steel framing, gypsum board assemblies, Insulation, Acoustical Sealants, HOW Firestopping and Fire Proof Patching
8/3/2022 - CBG is excited to be working with Flint Builders on the new Britton Middle School Student Union and remodel of the Administration Building, located in Morgan Hill, CA. The project is set to be completed by summer 2023. Coffey Building Group will be performing metal stud framing, drywall and tape finish.
7/4/2022 - Otto Construction has awarded Coffey Building Group the contract for Acoustical Finishes on the new 2-story, University Park K-8 Charter school, in Stockton, CA. This project is underway and set to be completed by summer 2023
4/1/2022 -Coffey Building Group is excited to be awarded the ACT contract from Hensel Phelps for the Richards Blvd Office Complex in Sacramento, CA. We will be performing the acoustical & metal ceilings, as well as stretchwall on the 2 East towers of the office complex. This project will begin in July 2022 and completed early in 2023.
10/19/21 - CBG will be joining the Flint Builders team on the upcoming contract for the new San Jose Evergreen Community College Career Education Complex. Coffey Building Group will be completing the Drywall on this new project in San Jose, CA. Construction is set to begin in June 2022 and will be completed in early 2024.
5/21/21 - Walsh Federal, LLC has awarded the Drywall, Metal Framing and ACT scope of work to CBG for their Travis AFB KC-46A project. This is a 3 bay aircraft hanger project located in Travis AFB, CA. Construction is set to begin in the 3rd Quarter of 2021 and will be completed in early 2022.
12/1/20 - Coffey Building Group has been awarded the contract from S+B James Construction for Metal Stud Framing, Drywall, Taping, and Acoustical Ceilings for their Kaiser Foundation 501 J Street project. This project will include new offices, conference rooms, and workstations in the existing TI space.
10/20/20 - CBG is excited to join the team of Clark/Sullivan Construction on the new West Park High School project in Roseville, CA. Coffey Building Group will be completing the Acoustical Ceiling and Wall Panels for this project beginning in May 2021.
2/10/20 - The Coffey Building Group team is proud to announce a new contract with Flint Builders. CBG will be completing the Metal Stud Framing, Drywall and Acoustical Ceilings for the medical clinic renovation and tenant improvements on the second floor of the UC Davis Health building located in Roseville, CA. This project is due to be completed in December 2020.
1/23/20- Coffey Building Group is very excited to be a part of the Hensel Phelps Construction Co. team on the 10th & O Office Building for the Department of General Services. CBG will be performing the Building Insulation, Firesafing, Design-Build Metal Stud Framing, and Gypsum Board System on this 10 story, 472,600 sf building. Construction is due to be completed in April 2021.
