MANAGEMENT TEAM
Denise has worked in the construction industry since 1983 gaining experience in the private and public sectors, including extensive DSA and OSHPD projects. Her career experience spans from development, project management and construction management to C Suite and ownership roles.
Denise is actively involved in Coffey Building Group’s daily operations with a focus on finance, human resources, marketing, client relationships, corporate education and team building.
Tom began his career as a drywall carpenter in 1979. His project experience ranges from residential, healthcare, retail, commercial, industrial, K-12 and universities. He quickly progressed from tradesman to field supervision and project management to senior corporate management and owner.
Tom oversees Coffey Building Group’s daily construction operations, including lead development, client relationships, estimating, project management, safety policies, and contract negotiation.
Ron is a third generation drywall, lathing, and framing carpenter, he began his career in 1997. Ron has managed mid-rise, high rise and replacement hospitals as well as numerous tenant improvement projects. His field experience enables him to communicate effectively with field level staff as well as executive management and owners.
Ron is responsible for the project management of Coffey Building Group's framing, drywall and plaster divisions including client relationships, subcontract negotiation, preconstruction design review/assist and project management.
Matt began in the construction industry in 1994, his project experience ranges from OSHPD and DSA to commercial, industrial, retail and is LEED Accredited. In addition to estimating and project management, Matt has a strong sales management and business development background, having held senior management positions in both of these fields.
A graduate of the Chico State CM program, Matt uses his vast experience and knowledge to manage all aspects of our Acoustical Division.
Anthony’s career began in 1990 as a tradesmen performing drywall, taping and rough carpentry. His practical experience ranged from apprentice, journeyman and field foreman before progressing to estimating.
Anthony’s duties at Coffey Building Group include lead development, estimating and sales for the drywall, metal stud framing and plaster trades, with a special focus on healthcare.
Paden began his career in the 1990's, having over 20 years of acoustical ceiling experience ranging from the installation of various types of ceiling systems, resource management and scheduling, safety administrator, detailing and design development, supervising and estimating. He has a strong background in many different types of construction particularly OSHPD / healthcare projects.
Paden is responsible for the overall acoustical ceiling field operations.
Shane brings vast industry knowledge and field experience to his role of General Superintendent of all field operations. His career in the construction industry began in 1997.
His comprehensive background, diverse project history & extensive Healthcare portfolio bring a great depth of knowledge to our teams and clients. Identifying potential issues prior to them impacting the project, and seeing those challenges as opportunities to mentor while providing client value is a strong focus for Shane. He is dedicated to finding solutions to challenges, relationship management, client satisfaction, quality, safety, and leadership
Prior to assuming the role of Corporate Safety Manager, Mike served as a valued member of our field team. He has fostered strong relationships with the entire CBG team, our clients and subcontractors.
He has actively contributed to the trades since 2011, utilizing his field experience and certifications to maintain high safety standards on our projects while prioritizing the physical and mental well-being of our teams.
Mike holds a mentorship role with the NorCal Carpenters union as well as a leadership role within his church. Mike dedicates a substantial portion of his spare time to community service.
